Helen Sarantos

Ms. Sarantos joined the Leadership Sinai Board of Mount Sinai Hospital in May 2010 and is actively involved in fundraising activities to support The Samuel Lunenfeld Research Institute and other areas of Mount Sinai Hospital.

Helen is a highly accomplished executive with over 20 years of experience in executive level project management and accounting for real estate asset management. Among other notable feats, Ms. Sarantos managed the logistics of a $10 million project aimed at transitioning the management of the REIT from Oxford Properties Group. At OMERS Realty Corporation and Borealis Capital Corporation, where she spend the previous 12 years, she controlled reporting and accounting structures for portfolios of up to 100 properties, including office, retail and development real estate totaling 45.2 million sq. ft. with a total market value of $6.4 billion.

Now that's a lot of change. Ms. Sarantos serves on the Advisory Council for the Max & Beatrice Wolfe Children’s Centre for Grief Counselling and Palliative Care at Mount Sinai Hospital. It is hoped that with all of that experience managing big time assets, she will help us with our multimillion dollar growth in our own big time fundraising efforts at Max and Bea.
