Mirella Bärnthaler

Project Manager and Consultant in Graz, Österreich

So here's a rough list of things I've done so far. I studied languages (English, French, Hungarian). During my time at university I worked as an interpreter and part-time teacher.

In my first years in the free-lance world I hired at ORF, the Austrian Broadcasting Service as an event manager, and worked for enterprises in travel business such as Thomas Cook, Neckermann and Aldiana.

After the birth of my second son I decided to get a permanent post - and ended up running the Sales & Marketing Department of the weekly newspaper Falter in Graz, Styria.

In 2010 I joined the team of Creative Industries Styria as a project manager, being responsible for projects in public space and the core exhibitions of Designmonat Graz, the annual design festival here in Graz. I also worked as key account manager for the members of Creative Industries Styria, and wrote and published articles on design topics and member topics on the company's website.

Constantly looking for new challenges, new goals I started a Master degree in European Project and Public Management, which I am about to finish by March 2017.

Always ready for the next step - I am now setting up my own projects. If you want to contact me - join my network on LinkedIn!
