I am a third-year Education student at the Faculty of Education, specializing in Senior Phase and Further Education and Training (FET) Methodology, with majors in English and History.

My passion for teaching began in Grade 9, inspired by my English teacher, and grew stronger through the influence of my Grade 12 History teacher. These experiences shaped my commitment to becoming an educator who not only shares knowledge but also encourages curiosity, confidence, and meaningful engagement among learners.

I find purpose in seeing learners discover new ideas and take pride in their work. As a bubbly and approachable person who can also be firm when necessary, I aim to create a respectful, supportive, and balanced learning environment.

Beyond the classroom, I serve as the Social and Welfare Officer on the House Committee at Impumelelo Ladies' Residence. In this role, I support first-year students as they build friendships, adjust to residence life, and balance their academic and social responsibilities.

My long-term goal is to teach abroad, particularly in countries where English is not the primary language. I hope to use education as a bridge between cultures, people, and opportunities.
