Salome Mbenjele:- Manager intake and Standards @ Association for Services for Trauma and Turture Survivors born in Zimbabwe. A mother of 3 children 2 boys age 28 and 19 years and one girl aged 13 years. Lived in Botswana, South Africa, Zambia, and New Zealand before settling in Australia in November 2009. She holds a Masters of Applied Social Science (Counselling), Bachelor of Science (psychology), Bachelor of Counselling, Diploma Applied Mental Health and Diploma in Education. She is a recognised clinician with a passion to create a meaningful difference in the lives of staff and clients. She values respect and dignity and aims to demonstrate that in the work she does. She is an experienced counsellor, clinical supervisor, teacher/mentor and mental health professional with more than twenty years of experience in human services. Her areas of expertise lie in treating anxiety, depression, trauma and torture, relationship issues, women’s issues, health-related psychosocial issues, alcohol and other drugs related issues including dual diagnoses issues.
Current Member of Australia Counsellors’ Association (ACA) and also Memberof ACA College of Supervisors (MACACOS). In addition Salome is a holder of CertIII in Leadership, Cert IV Training and Assessment and Cert IV FrontlineManagement
