I am Mbhali Kwanele Ngwenya, a University of Johannesburg student teacher majoring in Neurodevelopmental Learning Needs (NDL) and Business Management (BMA). I am all about making learning fun, creative, inclusive, and relatable to individual learners lived experiences.

At the heart of my journey I hold onto the belief that “purpose gives direction to progress.” This principle is the engine that drives and shapes how I guide others in their learning while also defining my own growth.

Recently, I volunteered as part of a teaching studies group that collaborated with Canada to discuss issues of drought and food security. Through this project, we produced a digital book, which gave me concrete and valuable experience in research, teamwork, and applying knowledge to real world challenges.

Alongside my studies, I have developed skills in coding, managing time effectively, problem solving, and planning. These abilities make it easier for me to make a considerable balance between my academic work with personal projects. In my free time, I enjoy watching my favorite shows such as Skeem Saam and Inimba exploring new ideas, and finding simple ways to grow every day.
