I am an easygoing person who likes to relax and have fun, but am not afraid of hard work. I get along with almost all people and enjoyed playing multiple sports while growing up. Going through high school, math and problem solving were always two of my strengths which led me to choose accounting as my major once I got to UMass Amherst. I was not originally in the Isenberg school when I got here and had to work dilligently in order to acheive academic standing high enough to be admitted. The passion that I found for accounting in the introductory course I took helped push me to work hard in order to gain entry into a program that I knew would pay huge dividends in the future. I learned that a degree from Isenberg is very respected in the accounting field and would help me later on in life. I am passionate about earning a degree in this field because I really enjoy the problem solving and how everything has a place that it fits. Another passion I have is hockey. It was always my favorite sport as a kid and I loved the team commraderie that went along with it. A dream for me would be for to one day possibly be on the business side of a professional hockey team. Accounting may not be directly associated with this but I feel that if I gain enough experience in the proffesional world I would be able to find something to do with it.
