Michael B. Moore

I create market value via brands, marketing, and advertising. I love to lead teams in creating growth, revenue and profitability via brand strategy.

I've had the pleasure of learning and working in brand management on some of the most iconic of global brands - like Coca-Cola and Jell-O. I've also been responsible for mid-market & start-up brands both internally and externally as a consultant.

Professionally, I also have deep interests in the growing power and evolution of social media. For a long time I have been intrigued by the strategic application of technology to connect people for mutual benefit. I cut my teeth in the social media space as President/CMO of an innovative leader in social media tools and community management in the late 90's.

Personally, I have serious interests in social justice. I believe in the Horace Mann quote "Be ashamed to die until you have won some victory for humanity."

Photography is my mistress. I love capturing the range of human emotion that one can find by simply paying attention - and photographing - what's going on around us. I am drawn to people, street, and social documentary photography; exposing the realities for some that are hidden or ignored by many. You can see some of my work at JPG Mag.

Currently, I am the Chairman of a consumer food company with about a $150 MM retail footprint.

I also very much enjoy reviewing advertising and blogging on marketing and advertising at The Brand Farm where I have presented a set of principles of effective advertising and critique current ad work.
