I am passionate about cell biology research, especially if that research has to do with the cytoskeleton. I am particularly interested in how the actin cytoskeleton’s 3-dimensional geometry (network characteristics, shape, distribution and dynamics) influences cellular function in immune cells. I use optical imaging techniques to understand how the 3D organization of actin is altered in response to stimuli and the functional outcomes of perturbing this response.
