Since 1996, Mbomboyo has been a consistent voice in the Gospel Reggae/Dancehall genre, impacting thousands with his unique musical style and message. With lots of impactful singles and albums to his credit. Most recently "Jehovah" and "Yes I do" have fared very since they were released.

As Artiste, Producer, Mixing/Mastering Engineer and Music Entrepreneur he began production in the mid 90's sequencing/programming beats and songs with the famed Yamaha PSR 510/720.

He's recorded and produced hundreds of artistes from his D512PRO STUDIO base in Abak, Nigeria.

His production credits and clients include the likes of El-Mafrex (the 2012 and 2013 MOBO Award-Nominee & Scotland Music Awards Winner). And 2012 SVMA nominee and kid sensation; the London-based Mya-K amongst others.

His recent productions with Paul Idiong (Lion ft. Mirobed, Dani Andi & Mbomboyo); Mfon-Yeshua (One God ft. Mbomboyo) and Snipar (Owommi ft. Pasto Goody Goody) are spectacular.

Currently using the alias MBMX, this veteran producer and audio engineer is set to optimize and maximize.

Mbomboyo is Rev. Aniekan Okokon JP. A happy husband to Dr. Aniefiok (aka. DDD) and proud father of Olive, Cedar and Pearl (#OCP). They make their home in Abak, Akwa Ibom State.

He also currently serves on the Pastoral Team of The Expressions Place (CGMI), Uyo.
