Michael Butvinik
A Brother in Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Michael Butvinik is a genuine guy with a passion for making the world a happier place.
His years of experience in the Hospitality Industry have enabled him to obtain several offers from Management Development Programs across the world. He is currently on retainer with both Royal Caribbean and Norwegian Cruise Lines in an onboard officer capacity, and holds TSA TWIC and Merchant Mariner Credentials.
A graduate of the Boston University School of Hospitality Administration, Michael has the educational foundation for strong leadership, and has exhibited his skills in problem solving and team building from his first days on campus. With a Hospitality grade point average of over 3.4, only his extracurricular interests and devotion match his academic record.
He has also been featured on both stage and screen since a young age. He recently skyrocketed to local fame after his recurring role on "Bay State," the longest-running college-based soap opera. Having played three title characters, in addition to many featured and supporting comic leads, his musical theatre career continues to thrive.
During his collegiate career, he realized he was destined for membership in Sigma Alpha Epsilon. Answering the calling of a "True Gentleman," Michael pledged his fraternity only the second week into school, a decision he has never looked back upon with regret. After an illustrious undergraduate career, having served his local chapter as Brotherhood, Ritual and Formal Chairmen, as well as Secretary and member of the Executive Committee, he was selected to receive "The Order of the Phoenix," the highest honor an undergraduate can receive from his chapter.
Michael Butvinik is a dedicated, honest gentleman who takes pride in his work. He is often found schmoozing guests during a party, making sure that everyone is enjoying themselves and the conversation. When he is not socializing with friends, or busying himself with new learning, he can be found at the desk of his travel agency, "Bon Voyage Cruising," which he founded as a freshman, and operated out of his dorm room.
