Mamie Bynum

Mamie Lee Bynum was born in Summerton, South Carolina. Mrs. Bynum grew up in Washington, DC and was educated in the District of Columbia Public School System. She graduated from Spingarn High School in 1973 then went on to complete her certification in Office Management from Opportunity Industrial Center (OIC). She received her Director for Day Care Center Certification from Prince George's Community College in Upper Marlboro, MD and worked as a Director of Day Care for the special needs population from 1989-1994. Mrs. Bynum is a Certified CPR Instructor and provides Certification and/or Training in CPR, First Aid, Emergency Oxygen Administration (EOA), Automatic External Defibulator (AED), and Blood Borne Pathogens.

Mrs. Bynum received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management in June 2008 and her Master of Business Administration in Operations Management in May 2010 from Almeda University. She received her nursing degree(LPN) from the University of District of Columbia and is an active member of several organizations including: The Prince George's Chamber of Commerce, The Alzheimer's Association, The Notary Association, The Foster Care Advocacy Committee, and the National League of Nursing. Also completed 80 hours of an Assisted Living Managers Course and Food Safety Managers Instructors 2014.

Mamie Bynum is currently Founder and President of Integrity Nursing Services Unlimited Inc. (INSU) since 2006, serving the elderly and children populations. In addition, she is Founder and President of Second Chance Outreach Ministries Inc.'s (SCOM) which sets an example of what one person with a God inspired vision can do to benefit others in need. She has provided therapeutic foster care services for emotionally challenged children since 1982 and has served the medically fragile population for 12 years as well as serving the elderly population.

Mamie and her husband Curtis are a "team from heaven" as many have called them. They have adopted two medically fragile children who the state had a hard time placing. Those two children are now adults. Mamie has also been an American Red Cross volunteer for three years and has provided respite for medically fragile children for the Department of Social Services (DSS), MRDDA, Child and Family Services, and the Association for Retarded Citizens (ARC) since 1989.
