Hi, I’m Heather. I am a pretty laid back individual who seeks out new and exciting musical artists and enjoys all aspects of performing arts.

Music, performance, and reading were constantly in my presence as I grew up. I’ve played the flute since I was in the sixth grade, participated in live productions in theater since I was eight, and performed in chorus and in choir for multiple years. Music has played an important role in how I grew up. My father aided in the writing of songs for the Marshall Tucker Band like in "Heard It in A Love a Song". I've learned to play the flute part in "Can't You See", mainly just to appease him (because he helped write it).

My father's influence and my mother's push to be a performer has been a constant in my life. I've wanted to start composing because I couldn't find myself being successful in writing lyrics; and I think it's a new challenge to take on.

Performing is something I've accidentally done throughout my life. It wasn't an activity I actively sought out to participate in; however I always found myself ending up there.

As I reflect now, I see that every time I wanted to "be something when I grow up" I wanted to either be a writer, musician, or an artist. The Arts has been a consistent presence that I've learned to appreciate.
