Rachel McBryde

Hello, I'm Rachel and I've been working in communications, as a BBC journalist, then in PR and communications for nearly 20 years.

In my current role as Head of PR and Content at communications agency Gardiner Richardson, I enjoy managing a talented team of individuals delivering world-class communications for local, national and multi-national businesses. Nurturing my team and seeing them flourish is a part of my job I love.

I also love great content in all its forms, good coffee, riding my bike, travelling, new experiences and my family.

For me, life is all about the journey, not the destination. In my world, making a difference is important, that's why I like to give back to my local community - whether that's as an academy councillor at my daughter's school, marshalling for my triathlon club or raising £30,000 for Pancreatic Cancer UK as I did in 2015.
