Consultant in Pflugerville, Texas
Born and raised in Philadelphia, a Viet Nam Veteran and served in the United States Army for twenty-two years. Met my beautiful wife on a "blind date" set up by my sister upon returning from VN and after a long courtship of 29 days, got married.
What is more amazing then the "time-factor" is my wife just thirty days prior to our blind date was poised to take her final vowels to become a Catholic Nun. On the bequest of her Mother Superior ( I believe via God) she was told to take a thirty day sabatical and if it was God's plan she would return back to the convent; otherwise God will lead her in another direction for her life.
Thus, when we met, "love at first site" and married twenty-nine days later. Come this March, we will celebrate our forty-eighth wedding anniversity.
Although, as I previously stated, my sister arranged the "blind date", no one can convince me that a "higher-power" did not play a role in this most unusual union of bodies and souls.
And as Paul Harvey use to say... "And now you know the rest of the story".
God has since blessed me with two beautiful children and two amazing grand-daughters whom possess my wife's love and talents.
I am enjoying retirement, no more 9-5, no more grindstone. I am taking on life at my pace and not someone elses. Keeping myself up to date on current events and the like. Giving "sage" advice to whomever will listen.
Now a days, I am involved in presenting a training course that helps our Veterans transistion from military to business entrepreneur.
It is called "Phase2 Advantage; authored by Michael I. Kaplan, an Army Special Ops veteran who made the transistion to "successful" entrepreneur starting up three small businesses and later selling them; netting him a profit in excess of one million dollars each.
I am a passionate advocate when it comes to my brothers and sisters who "put it all on the line" to protect and serve our great Nation.
I am honored that the course author, Michael Kaplan has put his trust and faith in me to bring this "unique" and valuable training to our Veterans, VSO's and N.P.O. across the Great State of Texas.
I thank God each and everyday for all my blessings and the next day to enjoy them.
