I grew up having no idea what I wanted to do as an adult. To this day, I'm still figuring that part out but I know I love to work hard and contribute to something I believe in - whatever that may be. For the last 6 years, it's been taxes and technology. For the better part of my life it's been education, creativity, and helping make things beautiful.

For the first 5 years of my working life, I worked as a marketing coordinator at a martial arts studio and a senior technician at a college helpdesk. These were the jobs that allowed me to pursue accounting in school and work my way toward becoming a CPA. Throughout college, my goal was always "public accounting" but I didn't know what shape that would take. Three years into my studies, that took a direction toward tax work. Now, I am a CPA licensed in California working in tax consulting for partnerships (investment and operating) and exempt organizations in San Francisco.

I haven't given up my love for education and design, and one day I will be able to use that passion more than I am able to now. I'm truly home when I'm involved with a school, and one day I know my work will bring me back there.
