McCluskey Chevrolet
McCluskey Chevrolet, the highest-volume seller of new and used vehicles for Chevrolet in the greater Cincinnati area, takes its role seriously as a member of the community. McCluskey Chevrolet’s owner Keith McCluskey enthusiastically participates in supporting educational and charitable organizations in the tri-state region as well as nationally. For the benefit of sightless children in the city, over the past six years McCluskey Chevrolet has donated the use of a van to the Clovernook Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired. The van furnished by McCluskey Chevrolet provided transportation for special needs children to attend summer activity programs such as bowling, swimming, and a visit to the Cincinnati Museum Center. McCluskey Chevrolet has partnered with the Arlington Heights Police Department on several community-enhancing initiatives as well. McCluskey Chevrolet donated a new Chevrolet minivan to the Arlington Heights Police for comfortable transport of its drug-sniffing dog, Alf. In addition, McCluskey Chevrolet agreed to serve as a corporate sponsor for Kid Care, in conjunction with the Arlington Heights and neighboring Lockland police departments. Kid Care seeks to protect the safety of children in the departments’ areas of service by issuing photo IDs to the kids and fingerprinting them.
Cincinnati participants in the Special Olympics received an extra treat when McCluskey Chevrolet donated tickets for them to attend the Hercules Mega Mall Tour. The tour, designed by Walt Disney Productions to promote their full-length cartoon about the mythical Greek hero, the studio’s 35th animated feature, included a stage show, games, and an opportunity to learn to draw like a Disney artist. McCluskey Chevrolet also donated the tickets for local Special Olympians to see the movie. To ensure a safe Halloween for trick-or-treaters who live near McCluskey Chevrolet’s new car location on Reading Road and used car areas on Galbraith Road, the Chevy dealer put up holiday decorations, had its staff dress up in costume, and hosted eager children and their families. McCluskey Chevrolet also supports the work of Inner City Youth Opportunities, a nonprofit that supervises recreational activities for low-income kindergarten through sixth grade children in the Cincinnati area.
