Before earning my Juris Doctor from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in Fort Worth, Texas I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of North Texas. In 2002, I was admitted to the State Bar of Texas and a year later I was also admitted to the U.S. District Court Northern District of Texas to practice throughout the Northern District of Texas and handle misdemeanor as well as federal criminal cases.

From 2004-2006, I was privileged to serve as Treasurer of the Dallas Bar Association Criminal Law Section. Further professional affiliations include the Irving Bar Association, the Dallas Criminal Defense Lawyers' Association, and the Texas Criminal Lawyers' Association.
