The McCorry Group is an International Wood Products organization. We supply from resources located across the Globe and similarly we have customers located across the World. Our core business is in the international trading of wood products through offices around the world: USA, Mexico, China, and Malaysia.

As one of our core values we adopted an Environmental Purchasing Policy from day one. We pledged that we would trade in products that were sourced from environmentally responsible suppliers, be they wood processors or forest concessionaires.

HISTORY

The first subsidiary of the Group, McCorry & Co. Ltd was incorporated in 1995 and began its business operations in 1996. Since then, it has steadily expanded and has made a strong presence in South East Asia, North and South America. The Group established its operational head office in 2003 in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia where its corporate management team is based to oversee and provide support to the international offices in USA, Mexico and China.

The Group has developed a network of trade routes with reliable supplier base of 499 companies in South East Asia, China, Brazil, Guyana and Peru. The Group now serves a customer base of over 169 companies in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Europe, Asia, Middle East and West Africa supplying hardwood and softwood products.

McCorry Timber Trading has a strong quality assurance program to ensure we supply a constant quality. We have our own team of quality controllers at supplier facilities certifying that all products are produced to the standard specified by our customers. Other initiatives, McCorry Timber Trading has undertaken to invest in Research and Development. These programs have been aimed at increasing usable wood from raw materials and identifying other commercially viable products that can increase the raw material yield.
