Erin McDonough

Erin McDonough is an energetic Professional, Public and Organizational undergrad student at the prestigious California State University, East Bay. In the Spring of 2103 she was given an award for Outstanding Work in Public Relations by the Communication department at CSUEB. In the Fall of 2012 she was offered an internship working as a Fellow for President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign. She had the opportunity to work along side volunteers she had helped to train as well as others to get the president re-elected. From this experience she learned how to help run a successful grass roots campaign as well as volunteer recruitment, outreach and social media management. Erin's future career plans and goals are to work for a nonprofit organization. She hopes to have a career that is challenging and gratifying that will also give her the opportunity to help others and make a difference.
