Caleb McFarland

Orlando, Florida

Starting out writing sic-fi and fantasy stories five years ago, I moved on to literary short stories and have recently started work on a non-fiction project having to do with the nature of understanding (it would be shelved in the philosophy or psychology section; though, with the weird book-organizing going on nowadays, it could end up in the romance section.)

Further reading that should be read:

How writers are created I believe is how plumbers are created, or doctors, or dictators: through life experience. Everything that has or will happen to us is life experience. The only difference is the specifics. But I think you will agree that it does take certain experiences to create a doctor apposed to a writer, or a dictator apposed to a plumber (even though a plumber and a dictator are only like a stone throw away from each other in difference. Okay, maybe a rocket propelled stone throw away in difference.) The reason two people can be put in the exact same situation and each one become something different is hidden within the vast complexities of psychology (complexity equals me not trying to explain it.) It is my belief that each human is born with a speck in their spirit, a seed that grows as they do. I am a writer because that speck (genetics) and my fate (I mean this an abstract way: basically, what the elements of my character and my situation allow me and cause me to do,) got together and here we are. Your reading this wondering what I am on and I am writing this wondering what I am on. Well, lets both be on whatever it is together, it’s more fun that way. ( I am not supporting drug use; though I will grant, it does sound like it.)

If you connect with my work, or just want to connect with my face because of my work (more probable) you can email me at [email protected] or stalk me on google+ at Caleb McFarland - Google Profile

(I would do that thing where you embed the code within other text but I am not good at that stuff so I am not going to do that.)
