Artist Bio:

Marina Pogue, known in ministry as MC Free, is a music minister called to carry the Word of God wherever she is sent. She was born and raised in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, and currently resides in Mesa, Arizona.

Marina’s passion for music began at an early age. She developed her gift through singing at home, in church, and in school choir. At the age of seventeen, she entered a Church of God district music competition. Through this opportunity, she traveled to various churches and cities. She earned first place in the women’s division and advanced to the Teen Talent International Finals in San Antonio, Texas. This moment marked the beginning of her ministry.

God revealed to Marina that her calling extended beyond singing alone. She was also called to evangelize and minister to young people. The Lord made it clear that her ministry would not be confined to her hometown, but would reach cities such as San Antonio and many others in the future.

At the age of nineteen, Marina experienced a season of spiritual separation from the Lord. During this time, she faced personal struggles that left her spiritually and emotionally vulnerable. She endured significant trials and felt broken, abandoned, and overwhelmed by darkness. In her lowest moments, she remembered the words spoken by her parents—that only God would remain in her time of need.

The Lord met her with grace and restoration. Marina surrendered her former lifestyle and returned fully to Christ. Through obedience and faith, God has continued to shape her testimony and strengthen her ministry. Today, she ministers with clarity, conviction, and a powerful message of love and redemption.

Marina has also been inspired by God to create music that reflects His faithfulness. One such song, titled “The Valley,” was written from a place of surrender and truth, with more music to follow. Her ministry stands as a testimony of God’s patience, mercy, and restoring power.
