Michael Cianfrocco, Ph.D.
Boston, MA
I am currently an HHMI Fellow of the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation working as a joint post-doctoral fellow in two labs:
Samara Reck-Peterson (Dept. Cell Biology, Harvard Medical School)
Andres Leschziner (Dept. of Molecular & Cellular Biology, Harvard University)
Broadly, my scientific interests lay at the molecular foundation of biology: how do protein assemblies give rise to ‘ordered’ molecular processes? More specifically, how do conformational changes in protein complexes drive the directionality of fundamental biology processes?
