I have been writing for as long as I can remember. It began with short stories for the comic heroes I would make up, then poems to deal with teenage thoughts that seemed far more deep than they actually were. In 2006, I began writing professionally as a staff writer for INsite Magazine in Gainesville, FL, and things took off from there. Since that time, I have written for popular websites, regional publications, online marketers, hobby blogs, public relations firms, and more. Currently, I write a montly video game blog for INsite Magazine (in print, some translated to online format), periodic critic pieces and news stories for Collider.com, and marketing copy for Groupon.

In my spare time, I'm a bit of a geek. I love reading books, especially sci-fi/fantasy novels. I play tabletop games, mostly Warhammer 40,000, online games, such as World of Warcraft and Halo, guitar, and I paint, mostly just little models, though. I'm also big into gadgets, such as tablets and phones, but really anything I can get my hands on. Luckily, I have an amazing, supportive, and most importantly, patient wife, who not only puts up with my ramblings about dragons and operating systems, but also engages me on the topics.
