McKenzey Harrison
Born and Raised in the Walton County area. I am Communications Science and Disorders major. I am looking forward to helping people increase their language ability and instill confidence in academic and social settings through speech. I am excited to be able to help geriatric patients as well as pediatrics. The options, this field provides, has played a huge role in my decision to choose this career path.
I have focused on child development during my school career. I believe every child is special and deserves a person who truly cares for them and their well being. Each deserves a friend and mentor in one; someone who will be there to celebrate accomplishments and work through failures. As I work towards my field, I have realized that elderly patients deserve the same!
My hobbies include college football, gymnastics, dance, friends and family, and food! As my family is Alumni here at UGA, Bulldog football is second nature to me. During my more recent years, I have been introduced to the Virginia Tech Hokies. My boyfriend has been a major fanatic for years and I have grown attached to their program! Gymanstics is what I do for a living, so naturally it always peaks my interest. The three Fs: Friends, Family, and Food. Those three are my main ingredients to my life. Without one, my life would unravel!
