A communications graduate of East Carolina University, McKenzie McQuown began her career in 2006 as a national educator for Ales Group's Phyto line of hair products. In addition to assisting major retailers with sales training sessions, McKenzie McQuown organized numerous events targeted at educating salon employees and their customers about the benefits of the company's products.
Between 2009 and 2011, McKenzie McQuown worked as a brand manager for Sweis, Inc.'s Lanza hair products, while also serving as a salon development manager for SalonCentric. Her efforts for both companies earned her the brand manager position for Moroccanoil, where she was responsible for managing 350 salon accounts and 25 spa accounts throughout the Southwestern United States. In efforts to generate new accounts, she planned various regional events, developed educational initiatives, and developed a loyalty program for high-end salons.
Since 2015, McKenzie McQuown has offered her sales expertise to L'Oréal as a business development manager for the Kerastase and Shu Uemura products. Working alongside salon clients, she develops six-month strategic plans to reach sales targets and increase overall revenue. In her free time, she enjoys staying in shape by doing Pilates and attending Broadway shows.
