Reid McLain

My name is Reid McLain. My home state is Colorado and live in the mountains west of Denver. I have spent the last two years teaching English to elementary students in South Korea. This year I am lecturing business classes at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies.

My background is quite diverse. I used to work in luxury travel, hospitality and retail. I even owned my own competitive Scottish highland dance school for over ten years. I still get a chance to sport my kilt in Korea at the British Embassy once a year. I also mediated for Jefferson County (Colorado) courts as a volunteer for seven years.

Since being in Korea I have fallen in love with teaching and loved integrating various technology in the classroom to engage the students. I can be seen in various coffee shops around Seoul working on my classes both for my lectures and for my EdTech studies.
