As a passionate person for science I have spent my life involved in different scientific areas. First of all, I obtained my Bachelor´s Degree in Biology, spezialised in Health Biology and Biotechnology. I loved all the subjects I had to study, specially the ones related to industrial and environmental microbiology. As a matter of fact, I have obtained the Biology Degree Extraordinary Prize due to the marks I got (9,2).

Once I ended that stage of my life I began my PhD in Biochemistry, in the area of the biomedical application of biomaterials. During the 5 years that I have spent in the laboratory I have carried out experiments with several biomaterials for bone regeneration. My Thesis has been focused on the study of different hydroxypatites for bone regeneration and osteoporosis and graphene oxide nanoparticles for antitumoral treatment by hyperthermia, obtaining the maximum score (cum laude). Thanks to that experience I have learnt a great variety of cell culture techniques and the management of several cell types. Moreover, I helped as supporting teacher in the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department I of the Complutense University in Madrid. In addition, I trained other students and gave some speeches about the results of my research so I developed communication skills. In addition, I have practice writing articles that have been published in international journals of high impact (14 publications and 8 congresses). All this work was made in collaboration with other research groups. Therefore, I have also learnt to work in a multi-disciplinary team.

On the other hand, I love learning new languages. For this reason, I am fluent in English and have intermediate level of German and basic level of French and Portuguese.

And now I am looking for new challenges and an opportunity to keep on showing how much effort I put in all the projects in which I am involved. I have high learning ability and motivation. I can make individual decisions as well as to work as a part of a team.
