Noneetheless, she welcomes topical requests to accommodate the event theme she is invited to share at. Recent poetry projects include "The 13th Floor" performed for the Purepath.org, "Love Revelation" performed at Elevate: X-Revolution, & 'I Know Who Invented Sex" performed at the KVCC Ignite Service. Marshelle has also appeared as a poet on the P4CM Lyricist Lounge 3rd DVD (now known as Rhetoric) for her original piece "The Truth". Marshelle is currently working on a spoken word project. Dance - Marshelle had no formal training but did participate in structured community dance groups since the age of 12. This led to a lot of performance experience. Later, Marshelle became a background dancer for an amateur rap artist named Nexxus who performed as an opening act. Through this experience Marshelle traveled to California, New Mexico, Texas, throughout Arizona and assisted in creating choreography for various shows. Marshelle was a top (3) finalist in a choreography competition through BET for the song "I'm Good" by Blaque on the "Honey" soundtrack. Marshelle has taught and choreographed as an independent contractor for the City of Phoenix for the past 7 years. In October of 2010 to November of 2011, Marshelle provided Creative Dance direction along with original choreography and dancer recruitment for the Internationally televised program "The EVO Show".
