McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home has provided the Clarksville-Montgomery County community and surrounding areas with the highest level of professional service since 1894. Founded by Thomas E. McReynolds as McReynolds Funeral Directors, later to become T.E. McReynolds & Son Funeral Directors. Operated by the McReynolds Family until 1976.

In 1976 E.R. Nave of Nave Funeral Homes in Clarksville and Erin Tennessee acquired McReynolds Funeral Home. E.R. Nave and his sons, Larry Nave and Tony Nave, operated the funeral home as McReynolds-Nave Funeral Home. In 1986 Mr. Nave changed the name of the funeral home to McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the addition of his son-in-law Ed Larson to the firm.
