Party Councillor who resigned from the main stream to go Independent. Since then adopted a more 'Social-left' political agenda. First elected to Moyle District Council in 2007 following a by-election. Served as Chairperson of the Council in the year 2011-12. Led Moyle to become the first Government Authority anywhere in the world to Twin with the Municipality of Gaza since the beginning of the Siege on the costal enclave. Campaigns on a Socialist ticket highlighting inadequacies in Housing, Healthcare, Social welfare and jobs. Campaigns include improved Public Amenities and sustainable job creation.
