MC Soprano is a promising young singer, music producer and songwriter based in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. MC Soprano, known for his smooth and laidback musical flow, has caused a stir in the Canadian underground music scene. Apart from being a successful singer, MC Soprano also writes for various artists including some ghostwritten efforts.
In 2011, MC Soprano, who had previously ruled out a career in music, won the 2012 Alberta Summer Games Song Contest, with his group Steady Motions. The song, “I Believe” was the theme of the Games, during the Games he performed in front of 8000 – 10,000 people with his group, which has now earned the playful nickname "the Black Eyed Peas of Canada". Following his group’s success, friends and family members recognized his music talent and urged him to take his music to the next level. It was then that MC Soprano began to reach out to several music producers to help transform his natural abilities and artistic ideas into top quality songs.
