Matt believes that technology helps model and explain people's choices. He first showed interest in decision-making and technology from a young age. Nurturing this passion, Matt studied Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology and Economics at Washington University in St. Louis, where he graduated with distinction. During his time, he taught basic himself web development (WordPress, HTML, and CSS), SEO, and content management to immerse himself in the web.
After graduating, he took his analytic and linguistic skills to a law firm, where he performed economic and legal analysis. Despite finding legal culture and work creatively stimulating, he left the firm to join 10 Speed Labs as a Project Manager, completing a crash course in web production. They loved him enough, and he loved them, so he took up the post of Director of Marketing where he specializes in analyzing metrics and creating data-informed content — SEO, Social Media Marketing, and PPC.
