Md. Ashrarul Hasib is in the process of completing his Bachelor’s degree (B.Pharm) in the Department of Pharmacy at Jagannath Universityin Dhaka. He has developed a strong passion for researching various topics, primarily focusing on Cancer Drug Design and Cancer Cell Biology. His academic pursuits include interests in Cancer Drug Delivery, Gene Silencing methods, Neurodegenerative Disorders, Phytochemical analysis and Public Health.

Ashrarul has authored A Research Paper published in a well-regarded peer-reviewed Q1 journal and has presented nine papers at international conferences across several countries. He has further enhanced his expertise through training in Molecular Biology at the Child Health Research Foundation (CHRF) and in the Ethical Use of Animals in Biomedical Research at ICDDR’B, among other experiences.

He is known for his quick learning ability, commitment to gaining new knowledge, problem-solving skills, and proactive attitude towards embracing new challenges, particularly in drug design, animal model lab work and machine learning.

Outside of academics, Ashrarul is actively involved in extracurricular and leadership roles. He serves as a Campus Ambassador from JnU for the reputable pharma company RENATA PLC, which has been a significant step in connecting academia with the industry. Additionally, he has held the position of Cadet Corporal in the JnU BNCC Contingent, interned at Dawn of Bioinformatics, where he contributed to phytochemical database development, and played a leadership role in the Hult Prize a business Case Competition, earning first runner-up honors twice consecutively.

In May 2024, Ashrarul became a member of the Jagannath University Research and Higher Study Society , now he plays General Secretary role, aiming to cultivate a rich research culture on campus. His fervent dedication to research and academic excellence continues to make a meaningful impact within the academic community. With a vision for a global influence in environmental research, Ashrarul is dedicated to advancing sustainable solutions through interdisciplinary collaboration.
