Hi everyone! I am Md. Imdadul Hoque. I serve as a Lecturer in Physics at Bangladesh Army International University of Science and Technology (BAIUST). I am also an Adjunct Lecturer at the International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC), and a Research Assistant in the Nuclear Data Analysis Lab (NDA Lab) at the Department of Physics, University of Chittagong.

I grew up in Sandwip, an island located in the Chattogram District of Bangladesh. I have completed my Secondary School Certificate (SSC) in Science in 2015 from Musapur Hazi Abdul Baten High School. Then I moved to Nasirabad, Chattogram, where I obtained my Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) in Science at the Hazera Taju University College. I have completed Master of Science (M.S.) in Physics at the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. During this period, I have also served as the Class Representative for the M.S. Session 2021–2022. My M.S. thesis was supervised by Professor Dr. A. K. M. Rezaur Rahman. I received my B.Sc. (Honours) in Physics from the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh.

I am passionate about stars, and i conduct research in studying essential parameters in modeling stellar evolution and nucleosynthesis. In my free time, I enjoy reading books, watching movies/series, travelling, and playing Cricket, football, and Badminton.

Activities

I was actively involved in sports-related activities at the Department of Physics, University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. As a member of the Orion-51 team, I was awarded the runner-up medal in the Physics Premier League Season 3 (football), held from June 23 to June 30, 2022.
