Md. Salmon Hasan Biplob

Md. Salmon Hasan Biplob is a proud member of Bangladesh Civil Service and currently working as Senior Sub-district Fisheries Officer. But, early in his career, he joined Biman Bangladesh Airlines and served as a Traffic Officer. Mr. Biplob obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Fisheries from Bangladesh Agricultural University in 2006, where he also earned his MS degree in Fisheries Management in 2008. Globally, Mr. Biplob completed advanced courses on “Mariculture” from the Fujian Institute of Oceanography, China. He also completed a short course on “Environmental Flow” from IHE Delft-Institute for Water Education, the Netherlands. Similarly, he is an alumnus of various e-learning platforms such as the United Nations Institute for Training and Research, FAO eLearning Academy, the United States Institute of Peace, and the Open University, UK. From these platforms, he completed multiple courses. Since 2011, he has been working intimately with local government and communities in the northeastern part of Bangladesh to improve their livelihoods, food security, natural resource management, and so on. As a civil servant, Mr. Biplob has been delivering motivational speeches on various social issues and engaging himself in volunteering and mentoring ­to aware the general masses.
