Former Research Assistant and Project Intern - Training Operations in Bangladesh
My name is Md. Abdul Alim. I am an energetic and highly motivated person, keen to serve the society by delivering the best and quality supports. I have completed graduation and post-graduation from the Department of Sociology, University of Dhaka. Throughout my academic career, I was consistently praised as a class representative by my professors and peers. While working on academic and extracurricular projects, I have developed proven leadership, communication and hard-working skills. During my academic life, I have participated in various national and international conference and workshops.
I have recently worked as "Intern-Training Operations" at B-SkillFUL Project of Swisscontact and my duty station was in the district of Bogura and Joypurhat in Bangladesh. I was responsible for coordinating and supervising the implementation of skill based training and job placement activities.
Moreover, I have worked as a research assistant of Lipon Mondal who is an assistant professor of Sociology at the University of Dhaka. He has completed his doctoral research in the department of sociology at Virginia Tech, USA. I have cooperated him by collecting data for his doctoral research.
I have almost one-year working experience at Rokomari.com which is the largest bookselling e-commerce site in Bangladesh. I have worked as a part-time contractual E-commerce Executive. My main responsibility was to categorize and promote books on the website of Rokomari.com. Through this working experience, I have developed corporate communications skills, teamwork, ability to work under pressure and time management.
Besides my academic study, I have completed a course on Practical SEO and I have been certified from BASIS Institute of Technology & Management (BITM).
