C. Michael Dabney

For more than 15 years, I have used my skills as a writer and editor in a wide range of communication venues – from serving as an assistant editor of a high-profile medical journal in Saudi Arabia to working as a public relations/news media director for a major university in San Diego, and as author/co-author of books and learning materials in science education.

I am currently a science/technology freelance writer based in San Diego, where my clients include Aira.IO Tech Corp., the USA Science & Engineering Festival, and The Epoch Times newspaper. I also serve as an Adjunct Professor of Communications at National University.

Throughout my career I have been interested in the power of words (and good editing), specifically the role they play in telling a good story, motivating people, and providing clarity to complex problems and situations in our changing world.

In addition, I have a penchant for creative writing and am currently working on projects related to personal experiences, including those based on my time working as a crew member on fishing boats in Alaska.
