Marcelo is CEO and partner of Woonky Group. Since he arrived the agency in 2009, he has been integral in acquiring and serving its high profile clients, including Alico, Altheim, Cadbury, CCU Argentina, Converse, Corona, La Nación Digital, Nokia, Paladini, Penalty, Unilever, Travelocity, Turner & Zonajobs, among others. He is a business developer focused on online and interactive media with 10 years experience in digital marketing working for the Latin American market. Prior to becoming a part of Woonky, Marcelo directed the digital departments of other well-known multinational agencies. He spent a year at JWT Argentina as Managing Director, and more than three years as Interactive Manager at Grey Worldwide in Buenos Aires. Previously he has worked at tech companies like United Virtualities and Aeropuertos Argentina 2000 among others. Throughout his career he has participated as a member of the IAB (Internet Advertising Bureau), CCA (Creative Circle of Argentina) and Interact (Argentina Chamber of Digital Agencies). Marcelo has led their teams to win local and regional awards such as FIAP, Diente, Lápiz Digital and IAB Best Campaigns. He has also participated in several university lectures and conferences as a speaker, always focused on transmitting his digital advertising knowledge. Marcelo studied Advertising and Systems Engineering at Universidad Argentina de la Empresa. He currently resides in Buenos Aires and enjoys playing golf, tennis, and Xbox 360.
