Martin Daoust

I am the Technical Sales Representative for Eastern Canada at Gen-Probe. I am responsible for a wide range of products including STD tests (based on transcription-mediated amplification (TMA) and Dual Kinetics Assay) and our revolutionary instrument for molecular diagnostics called PANTHER. I have been working in blood screening at Roche Diagnostics, next generation sequencing at Helicos Biosciences in Cambridge, MA. and done research for many years. I hold a B.Sc in Biology and a M.Sc. in Biochemistry. I have recieved several scholarships and done an internship at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore and at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.

Listening to music is therapeutic for me as well as reading books. My passion is road cycling. One on my dream is to cross the US biking. I like to travel and spend time with my 3 children and my future wife.
