Maria Darminova
Munich
I was born in Moscow and moved with my family to Germany, when I was three years old. I still speak Russian, but I don`t remember anything from Russia, which actually makes me a little sad.
I graduated from an international high school in Munich, because I always wanted an English degree to study abroad and see the world. And so I did: I went to London and studied journalism at the University of Westminster and lived there for three years.
In 2010, I returned to Munich and started my career in the German media industry working for ProSieben, one of Germany`s biggest private TV channels, FOCUS magazine and later on in a fashion PR agency.
However, after a few years in the media industry, I decided to change my career path and started this MBA prgramme, to make my career opporturnities wider and go in the direction of marketing and management.
Currently, I work for a chariy organization called Hadassah and organize charity events to raise money for a hospital in Jerusalem. After I graduate from European University, I will look for a new job and start my career in the busines world.
