Melissa Davin

Melissa Davin was born and raised in Fresno, California. Melissa is an undergraduate at the University of Tennessee with a declared Sociology major. Her whole life she grew up playing sports and has always been very athletic. She used her athleticism to gain her a full scholarship for the next five years. This privilege has allowed her to do a large amount of voluntary community work and also work with all different types of people. She also is part of a leadership organization called Team IMPACT that connects a relationship with a little girl with a life threatening disease and welcomes her to be part of the Tennessee family. With such an honor, Melissa is helping establish a life changing experience for an eight year old and making a difference on the quality of her life. Melissa works daily on keeping this experience a memorable one! As well as off the field, Melissa's teammates look up to her by her positive attitude and the examples she sets for everyone around her. Melissa has a lot of passion for athletics as well as people and plans on continuing school to earn a degree in sports medicine.
