Cognitive, Behavioral, Rehabilitation and General Neurology: I have expertise in treating patients with changes in cognition and behavioral changes due to neurological disease and injury. I treat a wide age range: from 8-year-olds with concussion to 88-year-olds with Alzheimer's disease. Conditions that I evaluate and treat include:

1) Cognitive and Behavioral Neurology: autism, cerebral palsy, attention-deficit disorder, neuro-Lyme, concussion, post-concussive syndrome, traumatic brain injury, neuro-lupus, neurosarcoidosis, mild cognitive impairment, Alzheimer's disease, frontotemporal dementia, dementia with Lewy bodies, progressive supranuclear palsy, corticobasal degeneration, normal pressure hydrocephalus, vitamin B12 deficiency, autoimmune and paraneoplastic limbic encephalitis, and mood and cognition changes induced by stroke, epilepsy, brain tumors, or brain surgery.

2) Rehabilitation Neurology: paralysis due to spinal cord injury, muscular dystrophy or stroke.

3) General Neurology: headache, neuralgia, neuropathic discomfort.

I am experienced with both alternative medicine and cutting edge research. I keep up to date on evidence-based herbal and over-the-counter supplements in addition to standard prescription medications. I am familiar with non-invasive techniques and implantable medical devices to restore brain function.
