Anita Hummel

As a photographer and filmmaker, I visually communicate music, dance, nature, people. I specialise in live music and low-light photography, making the most of available light.

I love light, and leaving the shadows it casts to tell their own stories.

I take commissions for live music photography, actors' portfolios, dance photography and anything relating to nature and environmental topics, and travel is my passion. My technical expertise is in low-light photography and I have specialist knowledge in environment and human rights. Academically, I've studied Photojournalism, Film and TV and Human Rights.

I thrive on inspiring people, the creative process, thoughts, change, a challenge. I'm based in Bristol, speak German, English and Spanish. I also teach photography and video production.
