One year ago I boarded a red-eye flight to London expecting the trip of a life-time. Little did I know that it would change my life forever. I never realized how much I love exploring forgein places until I spent eleven days visitng Rome, Flourence, Munic, and Prague. New places, new faces, new cultures; it was almost too much to absorb. I could not stop glancing from side to side watching everyone and everything. My plan for my life changed during those eleven days. I went from a home-body to wanting to travel around the world.

Each step I took brought me closer and closer to the decsion that I will study abroad during college and I will work in a different country one day. The world is such a big place with so much to offer. My passion for learning culture can not be conatined to tourist traps, though. I must explore the local sites and experience the local culture. Understanding the way other people live is important to understanding how I live. With my Pre-Physicians Assistant degree I hope to one day work in another country, helping people and learning about them at the same time. What more could I ask for in life besides doing what I enjoy most?
