Meaghan Kennedy
Atlanta, New York
With a background in public health and industrial design, Meaghan Kennedy founded Orange Sparkle Ball (www.orangesparkleball.com) in 2001. Orange Sparkle Ball works with corporate, academic and entrepreneurial clients to solve problems and implement creative solutions. The agency focuses on design strategy projects, including branding, environmental design and visual communications. Over the years, Meaghan has steered Orange Sparkle Ball to largely work with food and beverage and health organizations and increasingly take on socially conscious projects. In 2015, Meaghan saw a space to explore a program focused solely on design for social impact and the mentoring of young designers. This led to the founding of a non-profit, Spark Corps (www.sparkcorps.org), in the spring of 2015. Meaghan has taught both at the Georgia Institute of Technology and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and splits her time between Atlanta and the Bronx.
