Why do people knock before they enter, but not before they exit? That, and other metaphysical conundrums, is what I try to figure out. On other occasions I write columns, mentor international students, aspire to become a polymath, and collect antiques.

I'm Kurdish from Iraq; a valedictorian from CSM, and now a MEPI Scholar in AUB. I co-founded Awat Newspaper with a vision of independent journalism and youth democracy. Ask me about game theory, public policy, social media, and democratization.
