Mario, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What do you think it takes to be successful?

I think that success is different for everyone. Success to me is striving to be the best hat I can in every aspect of life and being able to accomplish things that people didn’t think I could accomplish. I believe this makes me successful.

Mario, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I started out working for the Marriott back in 2013 in the events department. I was setting up the ballrooms and other venue space for events to seat anywhere from 50 to thousands of people for weddings, birthday parties, etc. This became mundane and unfulfilling. This made me start thinking of ideas and things I could do for business. This lead to events and mne starting a transportation business. After years of learning the transportation business it allowed me to venture into other things such as trucking consulting, this includes dispatching, compliance, company set ups and more.

We’d love to hear about how you keep in touch with clients.

Social Media and Phone calls have always been my way of keeping in contact with clients and even prospects to foster relationships and brand loyalty. I always comment and share information when asked and don’t mind giving where I need to.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?

I think the lesson that I’ve unlearned from this journey is that people’s expectations of you are your responsibility. This isn’t true for me now but I did think it was my responsibility to please everyone but now I understand its a matter if who fits and if we can work together to get the goal accomplished. .
