Business Law Student, DECA Candidate, and Volunteer in Phoenix AZ

About Me

I started my DECA journey at Perry High School in Gilbert, Arizona, where I excelled as co-manager of the school-based enterprise, achieving gold levels in both food and retail merchandising.

Additionally, I earned my individual school-based enterprise certification and participated in the Thrive leadership academy at the International Career Development Conference (ICDC).

Transitioning to Arizona State University, I immersed myself in Collegiate DECA. I was ultimately elected ASU’s chapter president, tripling its membership during my tenure. I was then elected to the role of Arizona Association President, facilitating four successful conferences while actively participating in international events such as ENGAGE and ICDC annually. Consistently earning recognition, I achieved the Leadership Passport four times and clinched first place in Restaurant and Food Service Management in 2022.

Beyond DECA, I am committed to community service, serving as a facilitator for business classes at ASU and as a site host for Changemaker, the school's community service hub. My dedication extends beyond the realm of DECA, enriching both my university and local communities.

4 Reasons to Vote for Me

Track Record of Success: I have a proven track record of success in leadership roles, including being awarded President of the Year by ASU's business school council, securing more than $2,000 in sponsorships, and increasing attendance and retention at both the chapter and state levels.

Effective Communication Skills: Communication is key in any leadership role, especially in an international organization. I have experience communicating clearly and effectively with diverse audiences.

Commitment to Empowerment: As a previous association and chapter president, I understand the importance of empowering members of DECA, whether through mentorship programs, skills development workshops, or opportunities for professional development. I have showcased this by working closely with leadership at five new companies this year to bring new ideas into both my chapter and association.
