Anna Ashitey is a thriving photographer and videographer based in the Toronto area. Her aesthetic is a testament to her ability to effectively communicate a story within a single frame. Her attention to detail and creativity allows the true essence of the on camera subject to be captured. Anna has completed writing and directing her first short film “Bobby’s Sandwich”. The film identifies the on going battle one faces when dealing with depression, while expressing the beauty and joy in finding the courage to complete a daily task.

Anna is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Radio and Television Production at Ryerson University and her diploma in Fashion Arts, has granted her the opportunity to refine many of her technical qualifications. These industry standard skills include: being proficient in ProTools, Adobe Premier Pro, live multi and single camera productions, as well as screen play writing.

Anna is currently working on a single camera video series for The Green Project for Ryerson Eye-Opener newspaper. The project will exclusively shine light on the on going issues the campus faces in attempts to being economically conscious. She is also excited to announce her partnership with producing Toronto’s DriveHer Podcast where she will be editing, creating content and live radio and audio recoding qualifications.
