I build backends for data-heavy products — the APIs, pipelines, and infrastructure that have to stay fast and predictable when volume spikes.

Right now I'm working on the backend for a social media data API. That means designing endpoints people build on top of, running an ingestion pipeline that handles millions of records a day, and spending a fair amount of time on the unglamorous parts: rate limiting, retries, caching, and keeping p95 latency where it should be.

Mostly Go/Python/Node and Postgres, with queue/infra holding it together.
